Is my GP clueless?
Post Body
Been on flixotide for a week and seen no improvements. Looked into some studies to see how effective it is and noticed the doses were all high 150 - 200mcg.
My GP has prescribed me Flixotide at the request of the Gastro but feel like they've given me the first option/cheapest, as its only 50mcg strength.
Has anyone had success with such a low dose or should I start pumping more?

Appreciate the response.
In answer to your question I cut out the big 6 about 2 days ago and started eating only home made vegetables soups substantiated with oat cream. So not until recently, no.
My symptoms are awful, struggling to swallow even liquid comfortably. Every swallow is a battle, its very unpleasant. They also haven't scoped me in years so my esonophil count will be very outdated. I've been on the case and having an emergency scope in a few weeks.
Do you know when I can expect the meds to kick in? I'm in hell right now truth be told.
