Hi, long explanation/background info ahead:

I had an endoscopy last year, in which they took several biopsies. This was said in the report, under one of the many biopsies of my upper GI tract and stomach they took, "Esophageal squamous mucosa with rare intraepithelial eosinophil." But they never put anything in for a diagnosis except acid reflux (which I've had for quite a few years), and when I look up that exact phrasing and what it means, I get EoE as a result. I can't go back to my old gastroenterologist, he switched to a practice out of my insurance, and it'll be months before I can get an appointment in with a new one, and I'll be going off to college in late August (I'm 17 ftm, and I graduate next week). My questions are, is it worth it to call a gastroenterologist and explain this and what I think it means, and did any of y'all's upper GI endoscopies say this, and did they neglect to diagnose you because you were "too young," or even slightly overweight? And how do you handle symptoms (such as throwing up no matter what you eat, gas/bloating, etc.) because I've tried PPI's and antacids, and they don't work. I'd appreciate any advice I could possibly get.

Thank you in advance :)
