Hi all,
I'm based in the UK and I'm currently studying the IEMA certified courses. I should have the certificate qualification (same study level as a bachelor degree) by the end of the year, which will help me apply for practitioner membership using skills around environmental management which are in my current job. I work in the oil & gas industry and some of my job focuses on emissions management and also environmental management - although certainly not to the same degree as, for example, the HSE site lead. To that end, I have been taking on additional responsibilities in that HSE role which should help my PIEMA application.
Anyway, I would love to study an MSc in environmental management. There are several around the country and a few which are IEMA certified.
Does anyone have any tidbits about my chances of getting into that level of study without an undergraduate degree? Like I say, the study to become PIEMA has to be degree level, but it won't end with a full degree.
Thank you
