I’m looking for some career advice. I’ve been at this company since May and I’m coming up on my six months performance review. I started out as a due diligence writer who also conducts site visits about once a week for the environmental side of the company. However, the company recently has me working 2 weeks on/off for the architecture and engineering side, which consists of traveling out of state m-f. So essentially I’m in the office for two weeks at a time, and in the field doing architectural surveying for two weeks at a time on and off.
I generally feel like people who are away from home the whole week are paid more than entry level writers, which brings me to my question; should I ask for a raise? How much? (I live in central texas)
I would also appreciate any performance review advice in general. Thank you!
