For those asking "Where do I get started?" Here are a few free ideas.
Post Body

Alright, so I have more ideas than I can pursue, and rather than never seeing them live, I'm going to put them out there for free for someone to tackle.

"Who the fuck are you to have ideas of any note?" Well, I'm glad you questioned my credentials. I've run 2 successful Kickstarters of unique products that I worked on, as well as multiple viral successes - one of which includes mailing people bags of gummy dicks anonymously.

Both of these ideas are product based websites that you could start for under $500USD, and have potential for good viral marketing (aka - Share-ability)

1) 10mm Socket Subscription.

Though I'm not a mechanic, it seems like a fairly common thing for the mechanics I know and many of the memes about mechanics I see that they frequently lose their 10mm Socket. Buying in bulk will bring the price down significantly (well under a buck) and then having available subscriptions at differing price points.

Cost: $100 to get a webstore up and running including domain name, logo design, some pictures and copy.

$50 for marketing via facebook ads.

$100 for a bulk batch of 10mm sockets from a site like alibaba/aliexpress.

$50 for shipping materials.

Total Cost - $300 (if it's successful, $150 if not. If nothing is selling, don't bother buying the Sockets).

Marketing: target mechanics on FB for ads, and post links when mechanic memes mention losing 10mm sockets. Have options to buy 3x/year, 6x/year or monthly with price breaks on larger orders and price breaks on paying up front.

People can buy into it for about $20 for a 3 month subscription and $20 is the sweet spot for jokes like this. People are more than happy to pay $20 for an emotional response from a friend.

2) FUCK YOU BALLOONS

Bulk ordering balloons with the most common names on them that say "FUCK YOU ______" (Where the Blank is a name like Matt, John, Dan, Chris, Andrew, Josh, etc)

Cost:

$250 - Order about 500 balloons of each name (start with 5-10) for a cost of about $25-$50/name. This can vary quite a bit, but with customized items like this it's best to start with a few options at the least.

$100 - Webstore with domain, logo, pictures and copy.

$100 - packaging. You can likely come up with a basic design that will be able to be used in all packages with the name customized on each along with bags and a heat sealer.

$50 - Marketing. targeting the age range of people with those names will get a lot of eyes on the product. It is an easy share for most people "Let's get this for Matts Birthday!" etc.

Again, I'd hit a $20 price point on this, but the margins are fantastic. $20 for a $2 cost of materials. Package as needed.

From there, grow and expand by letting people suggest names to you, and gather their email for when it becomes available. When a few dozen people suggest 'Tiffany' then you add it to the site, and email them the link along with a quick discount code so they act sooner.

Total Cost - $500

Both of these are great little starter businesses that I thought up in the last little while that I think have potential, and can easily be automated if you're seeing success.

"But what if someone else here takes the idea?" - most people in this sub wont. even if 10,000 people saw this post, most would never start this. Even if a dozen other people start doing it, so what? Competition isn't the end of your business, it's the start of it.

Happy Holidays
