I recently found a very cool product at an international trade show that has no distribution in the US. It has me really excited about becoming an exclusive distributor, but I don’t really know where to start. Does anyone have any recommended resources (books or courses ideally) to explain the process and help identify the (many) things I don’t know yet that might cause me to fail?

I’ve read several articles so far, but I need to get into the weeds on the topic if I hope to be successful. The books I found have been for warehouse distribution, which seems like a different animal.
