Hey all!
We've tried with a few close friends to have them do some sales for us, but apparently - our friends aren't as good at sales as they think they are.
We are a pub trivia company and want to get trivia into new bars across the country (Canada!). Every new bar we get into can drastically increase our profits over a year, so our goal is to get into as many bars as possible.
Since we run 2-3 events per month with each bar, we pay out $500cad for each new bar signed up (paid out after each new event $200 for the first, then $100 after each next event).
We think that $500 is a pretty decent payday for what tends to be 10-20 hours of work in getting new bars to sign up, but our current people don't seem to be up to the task.
Questions:
1) Where do you look for commission based sales people?
2) What sort of qualifications do you look for?
3) How do you set up contracts for these arrangements?
Thanks for your help.
