I am planning to quit my day job very soon. For the last year and half my schedule has been being away 8-6 for a FT job and then coming home to work on a side-hustle. Weekends are getting necessary housekeeping stuff done and more business work! I am hardly left with any social life tbh. I rarely manage to see my friends and even if I do it’s a quick catch up over food, I am not complaining but just that I know it has been very busy. One of the reasons why I am quitting my full time job is that the business needs more love from me, there are so many things on our to-do list that just have been waiting for months to be done and if they were implemented today, they would cause surge in traffic to our website and hence profits. However there is something that worries me a bit that I have always worked a FT job since I left uni. Talking to my colleagues during tea breaks and just generally having convos with them keeps me sane lol!

I like to exercise and meditate, so I plan to set aside a decent time to do that once I quit, perhaps go to cinema once a week. I am thinking of dividing the β€˜new’ work day into two segments like from 6-10 am and then another one from 1-6/7pm with possibly 6 day work week. Please share what your schedule is like, when you wake up, how many hours you work/sleep/relax, what stage of your business are you in and most importantly how do you maintain that sanity lol? If you have tried things that didn't work or worked, please share them too!
