So thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom here. A few months ago my wife started a photography business and we set it up as a Sole Proprietorship and got her an EIN. Fast forward a few months - i've started a service business as well, and we decide we want to start as an LLC with both of our businesses under that umbrella as DBA's. So - i set up the LLC under the new name and go to apply for an EIN and I seem to get the error 101 when i submit it. I'm not real sure what to do now - i would like for us to both be able to open bank accounts under or respective business names as we are beginning to receive payments. Any thoughts would be appreciated - useful ones would be more so though. Thanks again for sharing your wisdom.
