If I have a product idea that is unpatentable, easily copied and only any good if linked with a big name (google, facebook, etc). Is there any point in making it?
Post Body
I guess the question could be put more generally are these big players somewhat amiable to buying out people they don't technically need to just to avoid nuisance lawsuits and bad publicity?
The money I am talking about is far less than a million, but I don't think I would really be saving them any money since their in house people could do it very quickly and easily if they had the idea.
