I've been lurking in r/entreprenuer for over a year. I design and make functional items like furniture and hooks - "lifestyle items". I weld, and make a good deal of my stuff from salvaged and reclaimed materials. I am an artist - not a manufacturer - think limited editions.
So I took ya'll's advice and decided to look for a mentor. Because I have no idea how to start the process of half creating unique items, and half designing products to be manufactured, into a business.
I just talked to an Architect (because design) and he told me that there is no way I can execute my ideas and to just "go get a job". WTF?
Anyone out there willing to entertain my creative dreams? Where should I start?
