Hi All,
I'm American. I built a web-based product in the UK... it grew really fast over 2 years and I was able to exit to a massive corp. I signed an NDA. I was in my 20s and kind of aloof.
2 years later, I'm now in grad school (MBA) doing job searches and I want to include more "impressive" details on my resume, but can't say how much, who bought it, or the original name of the company.
Also, when it comes to background checks or someone wanting to verify sale, I'm not sure what to include to show proof that I've done this. I can see details of my original business on Companies House, with me as owner, but the last detail listed is "dissolved via strike-off" (Even I had to look this up... I had a lawyer for all the exit details) and there's no information about the purchase/purchaser. I do have US and UK tax documents for the income I made of the sale... maybe i just redact names and amounts?
I haven't spoken to the broker about business for over a year and figured I'd come here first before they charge me for advice about how to basically, structure my resume.
So, reddit friends, any advice on how to list on my resume or prove something I'm not completely allowed to discuss?
