Thinking about getting into another line of business away from my own, with a shopfront finally. Mid 30s male, rough time finding employment, and have a dysfunctional computer repair shop.
I need an accountant I can consult with and someone good at strategic location planning.
My idea is to start a aloe therapy shop where I can treat skin conditions, apply therapeutic massages, and offer a spa like experience. Essentially the setup is more like a spa with an added service of healing cuts, scrapes, sunburn, and psoriasis.
I’d need a marketing team to help me reach out to, grab the attention of, and convert leads to, customers.
I’m not sure where would be a strategic location, what infrastructure I’d need, or step I should take to ensure I don’t end up flat on my face. I don’t have more than 10 grand of my own to put into this, but I definitely know how to stretch a dollar. I’d love any positive advice on how to get started and quick steps I can take to be prepared to start before spring/summer come up next year.
My customer base would be people who have damaged/aging/dry skin and acne.
So what tips have you? Stories of failures, marketing plans, organization synergies, hacks, tips and tricks, and referrals I am looking for. Help me help bring healing experiences to everyone!
I’m in the northeast USA if it’s relevant.
