Trying to decide on a pin size?
Post Body

My daughter has expressed an interest in starting an insect collection this spring/summer. I collected some butterflies and beetles as a kid so figure "why not". Anyway, having some trouble settling on a pin size as I dont want to buy loads of pins if she gets bored in 5 min lol.

To begin with I imagine it'll be whatever we can find in the garden. So mostly ladybirds, flies, small beetles, occasional butterfly, spiders, that sort of thing (we're in the UK). I'm thinking that size 2 might actually be to big for most of what we're likely to find, but size 1 seems REALLY tiny. So any advice is greatly appreciated!
