I took these one afternoon in late of August 2022, in West Michigan, about 2 miles east of Lake Michigan. The dragonfly flew up and landed on my knee brace, sitting perfectly still for about a minute or two. It was really symbolic, as I had an aunt who had just passed away, and my mom was convinced my aunt was sending messages through dragonflies. I hadn't really bought it till that moment, as I'd been having a really hard day of band camp, and it felt like I was just getting a reassuring hug from her. ANYWAYS you didn't need all that lol, but for that reason, I'd like to get a tattoo of this species in particular, so if anyone knows what it is I would really appreciate it! Thank you so much.
