I 20f just recently got an IUD so I’m in a lot of pain and sitting in certain ways can make the pain worse (pressure on the specific area). My boyfriend had to pick up his sibling (16m) from band practice and I happened to be in the front with the seat back as far as it can go for comfort, his brother opens the door behind me and tells me I have to move my seat up so he can get in. I politely told him I won’t move my seat up because I’m in pain and that he can sit on the other side where there is room. He proceeds to bitch and yell at me about how I’m being rude, that he didn’t give a shit that I was in pain, and that I need to move. I again told him he could sit on the other side and asked him why he couldn’t sit on the other side. He yells at me saying that he has always sat there and it has always been his seat and won’t move. (Bf was given the car by his step mother after she got a new one. It was previously the family car that we all got in when we went somewhere.) My boyfriend told him that he could either sit in that seat or wait an hour until my FIL got off work. He decided to sit there.
Edit to save confusion: my boyfriend’s brother is the one who yelled at me for not wanting to move. Not my boyfriend. He stuck up for me.
You should not be in pain for more than a couple hours after having an IUD inserted. If it's been a day or more you need to talk to your Dr about it possibly moving, being in the wrong position, causing a perforation etc.
Glad your bf stuck up for you, I would have told the jerk brother once and been done with him lol
