Apologies if this is a more boring story. No police, no screaming, and word-of-mouth rather than first hand experience.

For context, I work at an amusement park, and therefore have heard my fair share of entitled arguments from both first-hand experience and stories from my co-workers. But one in particular my coworkers told me about sticks out like a sore thumb, because it makes no sense whatsoever.

This particular amusement park has a motion simulator with a live actor enhancing the experience. The live actor part is important for later. Also important to note is this particular motion simulator is based on a very popular sci-fi video game trilogy, with a customizable protagonist and a very disappointing ending. The actor in question plays a character who does appear in this series, but is a VERY forgettable character outside of the attraction. Even the most hardcore fan of the series would struggle to remember this character.

So imagine my surprise when I hear about a park guest who refuses to ride this ride while the character is being played by a woman, since the character was a male in the games. This guy paid a decent sum of money to get into the park, and then decides to make a fuss about the actorโ€™s gender? Given the above, I would argue that realistically speaking, even if the biggest fan on the planet was also the most bigoted person on earth, he still would barely even care one way or the other.
