So this happened a few months back. My dog Luna, a blue roan cocker spaniel and I were going for a walk in our neighbouring park. I didn’t let her off the lead as Luna was still very excitable and would often jump up at people and other dogs. We had a little walk, and met Luna (a Labrador that shares the same name) and as we were heading home it happened. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her. The haircut the demanded I want to speak to your manager. Karen. I immediately noticed a very snappy and growling German Shepherd (I’m not prejudiced btw; they are my favourite breed, beside cockers of course) in tow. It clearly wanted to get to Luna and she wanted to play. I’ve had to deal with this a couple times before so I immediately scooped Luna into my arms and, when the Karen saw me, came jogging towards me, snappy doggo and all.

EP: Hi! Oh there is no need to be afraid, Max is just a big baby really! Me: Hi, I don’t really feel comfortable about doing that but it’s just because Luna is a bit jumpy lol. EP: Oh that is fine, Max doesn’t mind jumpers! Me: (noticing that Max was snarling and growling now) No, we really are just gonna go. EP: Omg just put the mutt on the ground so they can play, it’s not as if Max will kill her. You teenagers are so disrespectful! (I’m 13m) At this point Max was pulling at the lead and snapping. Me: No, please leave me and my dog alone. EP: JUST FUCKING PUT THE DOG DOWN YOU R****** SHIT! After that is just walked home. Luna had no clue why she couldn’t play with the big doggy but after we got home she entertained herself with chasing the cat Tiggy. I just laughed it off and told my parents. Some people man.

TLDR. Woman tells me to let my dog play with her German Shepherd, gets pissed when i say no and calls me r word.
