First time encounter with an entitled person
Post Body

I didn't imagine that I would ever encounter an EP in my life but hey they can be everywhere. First time poster and first time posting anything on these subreddits.

I was at the Outlets, visiting an athletics store to be specific. Nike. I was in line to buy just one item and there was another lady in front of me, still discussing about their clothing choices with another lady in line behind us. She looks like the type who wears yoga pants 24/7. She was eventually the one next in line for the cashier and she goes to ask a employee if they can get another size for her for one of her items as she is in line. She has like ten some items in her arms.

I was already thinking in my head, dude you're not even ready, why are you even in line?

As she was asking the employee, the cashier opened up and called for the next person in line. I went forward to pay for my single item. And I hear the one line everyone here knows. "Excuse me." with that entitled ass of a tone, you know it when you hear it.

I look back at her and she's still with the employee, and she looks at me, with this look of disdain and condescending dismay. In her mind, I'm probably cutting in line. Do you expect me to wait for you, lady? There's a line of people here you know, not just you. I can only think in my head again. I glare back at her and finish my transaction in less than 30 seconds and just leave. At the very least nothing happens beyond that. Phew.

That was thank goodness my first time ever hearing that phase 'excuse me' said to me in that tone. I can not in any way imagine what people in customer service or retail jobs go through with people like this daily. I wouldn't want to work in those positions, I might not be able to deal with them.
