I posted this a long time ago on my old account but it got lost so here we go!

tl;dr Em is angry at airport for weather delay. There is a little Ed

So I was flying to New York a few years ago to visit my amazing uncle whom I love. I was supposed to leave at like 2 o’clock but my flight got delayed for 6 hours to about 8ish. I didn’t mind the wait and I was with my dad, we got food and when we came back Em was nagging at the desk lady. I don’t know what she was talking about but she seemed mad. I ignored it

time finally comes to board the plane, Em and Ed (unrelated I think) board before me and I pass them as I get on.

Em: “how dare they delay my flight! I have places to be!“

Ed: “ Yeah! They sat me away from my wife!”

Me having enough: “Ma’am, the flight attendants don’t control the weather, you can’t get mad at them and sir, you’ll see your wife in a few hours”

then I walked to my seat. Now remember I was like 14 and extremely socially anxious and hated standing up to aduls, a fear my parents gave me. So I sounded super quiet and shy when talking to me but I hate people who give people s*** for no reason.
