I work at Home Depot, and on my way to the bathroom, some dude stops me and needs batteries for his landscape lighting. There are.none stocked by the landscape lighting area. What do we call a male Karen? Chad? So I pull out my handheld thingy and turns out we have some battery stock overhead. I say "give me a minute, I'll go grab a rolling ladder." He looks at his watch. Fuck this guy. So I bring this huge rolling ladder, climb it to retrieve the batteries, but they are 3inches out.of reach. I climb back down and say "I'll be right back, I gotta grab a reaching tool. Basically a stick with a hook on the end. So I go to grab the stick, and when I return, dude is on the fucking ladder. I yell at him, I mean seriously yell at him. He climbs down, and while I'm up there, he is cutting open 5 or 6 lighting boxes. Presumably to pilfer batteries from a new, unopened box. I get the battery box, and there are none in his size (our fault). He complains, and I reply "well, were you able to find any in the 6 boxes that you just opened?" He says "no. I'm just going to Lowe's!" Good, GTFO.
Dude acts as if Home Depot gives a fuck about his $7 battery purchase. The Appliances Dept will sell ten grand of product by the time he arrives at Lowes.
