This can't be a "one filter for all" type of thing. What I'd like to see is when you go to a subreddit, like /r/spaceporn, either at the top or side or what have you is a little filter that say's: Filter subreddits by text or image posts. If you leave it off then every submission from that subreddit, /r/spaceporn in this case, shows up. If you turn it on it gives you the option to choose text or image post's. If you choose text, then all that show's up is text based posts. If you choose image then only image post's show. I subscribe to a lot of different subreddit's, and some of them I would like to filter like this. It irritates me to see, in /r/spaceporn, someone submitting the latest news about the various space programs, or the hubble; without submitting any pictures with it. Where as with /r/LPT it urkes me when they submit a post that shows pictures.
