As a foreigner, I have the impression that, among all native speakers, the Canadians are ones that speak the voiced TH more clearly. Is that right?
Post Body

Voiced th as in "this", "the", "other".

I began to notice that when I listen to music from Canadian artists. They clearly pronounce the voiced TH /ð/.

American singers don't seem to pronounce it that clearly and distinctively. Sometimes it pretty much sounds like a /d/ to my foreign ears, while with Canadians I can tell it's really a /ð/.

I also listen to some British and Australian music, and they don't seem to pronounce it that clearly either.

But I could be wrong.

What do you guys say?
