Post Body

As the time of family gathering is approaching I have found i can't express my new job well to none technical family. They understood what power tools and electric bikes are so that worked Now I work on industrial drives and everyone i have talk to seems to blank when I say. I work on the equipment that makes motors controllable.

Anyone in the industry have a better way to describe it so a more general audience will get it? I can't see a real flaw other than most people don't make a connection that they don't have control over the motors they use?
