I was a pretty good student until my sophomore year, with a GPA above 9.5. But ever since covid hit and the exams moved online, I have been struggling a lot. Not only have I lost the motivation to study, our exams continue to be graded on a curve and well they are held online so students cheat. This has raised the grade boundaries tremendously where you have to secure above 95 to get a 10. The college is aware of this but they just don't care. I should really be working harder but this relative grading and cheating menace is beyond my control, so I feel extremely demotivated. I can't explain this on my applications of course, so will this hit in my GPA hurt my chances of admission? Or will they be more considerate because they are aware of these issues?
