Look I know we're dealing with a pandemic and what-not and the job market's is really slow at the moment. But, a lot of people in my class are at least getting calls for interviews. I feel like my resume is not even clearing the ATS. How do I get past this so I can at the very least get an interview?
A little bit about me: I'm an international grad student in a US university majoring in EE with a specialisation in VLSI. I'm mostly looking at verification jobs in the Hardware domain. I personally believe that I do have the skills and experience that the entry-level verification jobs ask for but, I've had zero callbacks since the three months I've applied for jobs. My GPA is 3.4/4.0. I don't know if it's my GPA.
This is my first real job hunt experience since I started my Master's degree right after undergrad. So, honestly I just feel kinda lost at this point. I'd love to dm my resume to someone in the same/related domain as me to get some insights as to why my resume doesn't stand out. People from other domains, I'd love to hear your suggestions as well.
