Glass Thickness Calculation

Post Body
Hello,
I'm not an engineer but a hobbyist and wondering if anyone would know how to calculate this... I'm building an induction cooktop and need to select the appropriate thickness of borosilicate glass for the top. The glass piece will be a 16x16" square, supported on all four edges by 1/2x1/2" angle iron (actually stainless). I'll be putting a 15" diameter pot on it with up to 8 gallons of water. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
