How is research different from an internship?
Post Body

Hi! Just started a research position this week. The atmosphere is different from what I am used to and I'm having trouble adjusting. Those of you who have done undergraduate research as well as an internship or co-op, how do your work days differ?
I've spent the last 2 days learning anatomy and taking notes, which is fine. At my last internship I hit the ground at a dead sprint on the first day so I'm a little jarred by the change in pace.

Any advice for a new, scared research student?
