I currently work in a machine shop. Have been here for years, and have certified machine operator licenses, but I want to go into engineering tech work so I just started my mechanical engineering degree.
My current role is in receiving after they told me it would be temporary and give me a salary boost until they find an opening. Now, my employer does not want to help me move up at all, and told me they donβt value my current educational pursuits.
I will be looking for a new job after new years and need advice on some positions that may be available to help me get where I want to be.
