Overheating off track

I got a treefiddy in a dirt car that likes to overheat but only when I come off the track. idle with the fan on it sits at 160 max. On the track giving it hell it hits 210 but after I come off it’ll spike to 250 on the gauge for like 2 minutes and then drops to 210. I’m wondering if it has something to do with the temp of the block but idk… couldn’t find anywhere else to ask this so here you go.
