I got a race car with an annoying starter, I replaced the solenoid and it fixed the sticking issue I was having, now when I have my battery disconnect on the solenoid overheats and doesn’t work. (it probably over heated before and killed the other solenoid). It returns to normal when it cools down but obviously something’s wrong with my wiring or the universe just hates me idk… lmk what you think…… The stater has 2 big posts and a smaller one in between them in an A shape I have the right post hooked up to the battery and the left goes to the starter, the smaller post is hooked up to a button that grounds the wire when pushed. It’s a gm starter
