I am 51 about to be engaged to the gf. question on budget for the ring. (we are both successful professionals making good money both around 100k) I love emerald cut diamonds and I think the 2 carat size is really a nice size. Am I being cheap? the ring I like is 7500.00... also I live in Dallas and it is about as pretentious as it gets.....
