My fiancé proposed with his grandmothers ring, and I absolutely love it! It suits me perfectly, it’s classy and a bigger rock than I ever thought I’d be comfortable with (we’re more outdoorsy and chill than flashy!), but it is just perfect for me. The issue is now I have to find a wedding band that fits with it. As you can see in the second photo there is a small bump in the setting, I don’t know what it’s called, that means a simple band won’t sit flush against it, which drives me craaazy!!
It’s important to me that the band sits flush against the engagement ring, and is simple. All chevron bands I’ve tried on have been very sparkly or flashy and that’s just not me! Even the ring in the first photo, though gorgeous, feels busy and just isn’t my style.
Should I just get a plain chevron band ordered online without trying it on to see how they look together? Is there another option I’m not considering? I’m not against something kinda unique, it’s more the additional flashy diamonds that just aren’t my style!
TIA! ☺️
