My partner had organise this whole big proposal over the Christmas break with our parents , his mum and my folks, it was doing to be a surprise for me and Iād get to celebrate it with three amazing people. But sadly his mum had a tragic accident a few weeks ago and passed away. She lived in Perth, so we flew there to say goodbye and start processing everything. Saturday was my last day up there, we had a great day, went to a restaurant that my uncle took my family to when I was 15ish, so I was living in that memory while we where there as well as creating knew ones with my partner, spent the next few hours walking around fremantle, shopping and getting pierced. On the way back to his mums place he asked me to stop and we ended up at one of his mums favourite cafes that I had spent time with her independently of him. And he proposed. To make it even sweeter it was with one of his mums rings that I fell in love with the moment I saw it. His mum and I had spoken about her rings and she knew this one was my favourite, unbeknown to me they had organised the ring to be resized. This is one of the most beautiful, stunning and now sentimental pieces of jewellery I have ever had the honour of wearing. It will never be coming off my finger!
