Regret not going bigger

Post Body

I got engaged earlier this year and my fiancé and I went shopping together for my ring. I spent weeks and weeks agonising over the decision and feeling overwhelmed by the choice and need to find something I would be happy wearing forever! Eventually we selected this 1.1 carat oval lab diamond, yellow gold with channel set band. I feel very spoilt and silly posting this but I have bad ring regret... I don't think my ring works very well with my largish /fingers and wish I could go back to pick a thicker band and bigger stone. Budget wasn't an issue, I just chose smaller because I thought a bigger stone might not be 'me' (I wasn't used to wearing rings). Any advice for how to fall in love with my ring, or recommendations for how to improve it? [First three photos are my ring; fourth photo is another I tried on during the shopping.]
