Has anyone straight up stopped all meds and went a more “natural” route to healing?

Post Body

I’ve been on BC due to intense period cramps, so my period is nonexistent now, which is the only benefit I’m experiencing. I’m 28 and on Loloestrin Fe. I’m married, and although we aren’t explicitly trying to get pregnant, we’re ready to have a baby if that situation arose. Basically, I’m not concerned about avoiding getting pregnant.

I’ve noticed I’m very emotional and unmotivated to do regular activities I used to love, my hair is starting to fall out/is thinning, and I’ve gained some weight on the scale despite increasing my exercise to every day, mix of cardio, MMA and weight lifting. Clothing fits better than it used to, but I’ve gained 15 lbs since Jan which is when I started taking BC. I’m not comfortable with an IUD, implant or anything else being inserted into me.

I’m debating reaching out to a naturopath. Has anyone found relief being off of medication and trying an alternate route?
