Hi all. I've been digging around all of the FB & reddit groups and now have a solid idea of what is involved with endo, adeno, surgery, etc.
I live in the SF Bay Area and am in my early 40s and have Anthem Medi-Cal insurance.
I need to find an excision specialist, ideally who takes my insurance. Out of network might be an option but it would take a whole lot of fundraising and luck to make it happen.
I can not see anyone at the UCSF Endo Clinic because my insurance denied my referral request.
None of the Nook drs take my insurance, nor do any of the ones I've seen on the reddit map.
There must be at least a few more skilled endo docs around here, right?
I'm also open to travel especially if they take insurance (of any kind - I might could find a way to switch insurance).
I don't think I could handle anything further than a 10-15 hr drive though, as I have immune issues and can't fly during the pandemic.
That means I could probably do as far as Seattle to the north, San Diego to the South, and Nevada/Arizona/Utah/Idaho to the east.
Help!!!!
