Iām having my first laparoscopic surgery to āofficiallyā diagnose & remove endometrial lesions & a deflating cyst. Iāve had a few minor surgeryās, but not sure what to expect since we donāt know exactly what sheāll find.
How can I best prepare myself for recovery? What did you wish youād known? Iāve got books & video games galore, Iāll be shopping the day before to get all my favorite comfort foods, we have an adjustable bed so Iāll be able to sit upright while supported....what am I missing? Nurse Boyfriend will be at my beck & call, but Iām fairly independent and I get grumpy about not doing things for myself when Iām doped up.
Thank you for any wisdom!
