I’m having my first laparoscopic surgery to “officially” diagnose & remove endometrial lesions & a deflating cyst. I’ve had a few minor surgery’s, but not sure what to expect since we don’t know exactly what she’ll find.

How can I best prepare myself for recovery? What did you wish you’d known? I’ve got books & video games galore, I’ll be shopping the day before to get all my favorite comfort foods, we have an adjustable bed so I’ll be able to sit upright while supported....what am I missing? Nurse Boyfriend will be at my beck & call, but I’m fairly independent and I get grumpy about not doing things for myself when I’m doped up.
