Still feeling SO EXHAUSTED after surgery

I had my first lap last Thursday, so 6 days ago. My pain is so much better but I'm just exhausted; both in the sense that I'm tired and sleeping a lot, and that I'm physically worn out, like I'm over-exerted. I still have another week off work, but I'd like to go back sooner rather than later! Is this just normal post-anesthesia/post-surgical recovery?
