Hey everyone!
I had a lap a week ago to the day (5/2). I had a unilateral salpingo oophorectomy and endo excision from my pelvic wall, uterus, and rectum. Primarily my left side was afflicted which is the ovary I lost. Here are the exact notes from my surgery regarding where endo was found:
“Normal tubes bilaterally. Normal right ovary. Patency of bilateral fallopian tubes confirmed with chromopertubation. Endometriosis along the entire left pelvic side wall, posterior uterus, small amount at right side wall and deeper lesion overlying the rectum. Left ureterolysis performed.“
I was feeling quite a bit better until yesterday when I developed pain on my right side. It feels like something is.. stuck? When I bend, stand up straight, or move my right leg, it feels like something is pulling inside and I am having sharp pains. I’m not sure why because I had the least amount of work done there and it’s spooking me a bit.
My doctors office closed early today for training so I can’t call until tomorrow. Has anyone else experienced this? I had to go home from work today and I work in an office where I really just need to be able to sit so I’m feeling like a wimp.
