First off, sorry for the n00b question. But: n00b here.

I think I've come to some form of grips with the whole hacking thing (or maybe not. Who knows?), but what exactly am I supposed to do when the pop-up shows up telling me when a system has been compromised? It tells me to look closely at this and that, but I don't see anything which might help me. The hacking menu isn't really being very helpful at the moment. I tried Googling my problem, and nothing concrete seems to really pop up apart from people complaining about the strategy (I understand the grief, as someone jumping in from Legend) or talking about scrapping whole systems.

Also: is it just me, or is the research screen from Endless Legend a lot better than this game's? It's the only other thing about the game which I think is poorer in design. This is just a first impression, so I might soothe on it over time.
