Hey everyone!

So, I got this really annoying problem with Alsa on EndeavorOS where the volume for my sound device (USB sound card) resets at every boot and said volume is extremely low. I've tried searching for possible solutions but none of them have worked.

I've tried a simple:

sudo alsactl store

Did not work.

I've also tried:

alsactl -f ~/.config/asound.state store

Followed by adding:

alsactl –f ~/.config/asound.state restore

To .bashrc

None of this has worked and I couldn't really find any other workarounds to try so now I'm turning to the almighty reddit in the hopes that someone here has the answer to my woes!

I'm running:

Default Arch kernel 6.2.6 (also tried Zen)

Røde AI-1 (The USB sound card in question)

All other packages fully updated.
