I was gifted a 5 session package for stretching. Itās new here so we thought it would be interesting to try.
They basically do different stretches with your body. Itās ok. Itās kind of expensiveā¦ $55 for a 30 minute session.
I ask where to put my bag.
He says, āover there under the tip jarsā. š
I roll my eyes a little bit because I know heās purposely pointing out the tip jars.
He then told me to take off my shoes and āput them under the tip jarsā. š
Iām definitely not tipping.
They purposefully put the tip jars where you store your bags and shoes so you have to face them twice during your session. Itās tacky as hell.
This affected my experience. Iām looking to see what I can do with the remaining 4 sessions because I hate that so many places are begging for tips now.
I wonāt be purchasing anymore sessions.
PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES ENOUGH SO THEY DONāT NEED TO BEG FOR MONEY.
I wanted to share this so others wonāt be surprised if they walk in to a similar place.
If people truly want to tip, they will ask how. But shoving a tip jar in customerās faces is a big turn off.

I saw a homeless guy in Chicago put his QR code out there so you can direct deposit cash. Itās a clever move really.
