In ye olden days, during the maritime golden age of the Anglo-Dutch wars, the Fleet had been organised into five subdivisions, the so called Admiralties. Each Admiralty was obligated to maintain a certain number of warships according to their wealth and income, and raise more during times of war and great distress. Though it fell out of favor over the course of the 18th century, the current political situation in the Netherlands once again bodes excellent opportunities for a such a decentralised system.

Where the Admiralties had once been centered around Holland and her estuaries, the new maritime culture across the entire nation allows for an Admiralty in all regions ruled by a Bestevaer. As such, the following seven Admiralties shall be founded, at the behest of the Princess and her ministers in the Hague:

-De Admiraliteit van de Maas -De Admiraliteit van Zeeland -De Admiraliteit van Holland -De Admiraliteit van de Wadden -De Admiraliteit van de IJssel -De Admiraliteit van Friesland -De Admiralitiet van de Ommelanden

Each Admiralty shall be headed by the respective Bestevaer of said region, and all will be instructed to build a sizeable fleet at their soonest possibility. The headquarters of the combined Dutch fleet shall be installed at the old Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, and be headed by one of the Princesses closest confidantes.
