The young Stefan Uroš VII was enraged. His foolish workers, superstitious swine have sapped his treasury with their fear. The bears are our friends and, surely, in time they will be tamed like Davis and Vuk. But now more pressing matters encroached on the Shah’s thoughts. The treasury was struggling with massive debts weighing down what was called “the fool’s folly.”

So he thought of his plan. The gold mines of Kosovo were something that he had been told of from his father, who had heard stories from his father. He would send an expedition of 500 immortals from Vojvodina south into the former province, to explore and find the gold mines, potential for settlement, and quell any minor resistance from the villages. His expedition is the red and is considered HIGH priority.

The Shah planned this expedition with a second, joint one, from the lands of Premier Petar Kennedy. To secure former Serbian lands, he would send 700 of his own men on a scouting expedition along his border, attempting to reform the border of Serbia from an old map he found in an abandoned house. His expedition is shown by the lighter color on the map. After scouting the former Serbian provinces, the Kennedy forces would cross into Kosovo from the south and reinforce the immortals.
