Best multiplatform emulator?

New to emulation and got the classicboy app which is a bit crap and sometimes won't let me access save files. Can someone please point me in the direction of a decent GBA, NES, SNES, N64, etc emulator please? Tried searching the reddit but only fine console or handheld specific emulators and I don't have enough cash to pay for each individual one and free emulators haven't been great for me thus far. Cheers.
