Mpen64plus in retroid pocket 2 plus pokemon stadium help

I have a retroid pocket 2 and I also have mupen64plus fz pro on it that I did legitimately bought and I've wanted to use the transfer pak on pokemon stadium 1 with pokemon yellow, and I managed to connect them, but for some reason I can't use the GB tower, it says that the transfer pak wasn't plugged in correctly, is there a way to fix this?
