In California Just got a new boss who is wanting to make her mark and things. One of her changes in when we take breaks. I know on 8hr shifts, we get two 10s and a 30 for lunch. And I know the lunch break has to be started before the end of the fifth hour. Other than that, can my new boss dictate when we take our breaks? She's wanting to dictate that we take both our 10s together after only two hours, and then our 30 after working 4hrs, which just seems wrong as some folks would want their two 10s separate. And would I need to discuss these issues with HR or our Union?
