Transfer took longer than expected and other things.
Post Body

Hi, so I work at a retail grocery store, was at a location out west then moved back to the east coast in Virginia, this was my decision, not the company's. It took 7 weeks and the hr store manager said she never had an out of division transfer so she didn't know how to do it. So 7 weeks of no pay, lost about 5k from travel then from waiting and paying bills. Then they said i had to work 38 hours for 12 consecutive weeks to get full time status, which is when I should've gotten my benefits and vacation time. i did that and yet it still has me listed as new hire in the system so listed at part time. The company makes you wait a year for benefits. Ive been with the company for 5 years. I should have vacation and pto, but i don't. I have to take 1 possibly 2 weeks off due to surgery now and so now i won't get paid for this time off. All's they said was for me to do FMLA. Of course, now my mental health is shot. Do I have any kind of case to fight and sue or anything I can do get some kind of money put in my bank account instead of keep losing more? Thanks.
