Is it a bad idea for me to go into Med?

I avoid disturbing imagery / depictions of suffering. But I'm going to have see a lot of deformed bodies when studying disease for med school. Also, I'm likely going to be faced with several patients' deaths during my training. I don't want the compassion fatigue. I feel hesitant because of this about whether it's the right field for me.
What do you guys think?
